Not to be a total downer, but I'm really ready for this semester to be over. I really like going to school, but the cumulation of time spent here every week is so huge that I'm beginning to become a bit exhausted by it all. I guess I'm just ready to be done with these classes and just move on. And now that I'm about to go to college in earnest, I'm starting to look forward to it, whatever misgivings I might have about the whole experience. So I'm thinking about how much money I'm going to have when next semester starts, and what sorts of things I'll have to buy to survive in the academic bayou (one of the first things I thought about was stuff to personalize my dorm room - I will enlist your help).
It is 4:47 and the W.C. is dead as a bag of rocks. Actually there are exactly four non-staff people here at the moment, which is close enough to dead that I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs, wondering what how I'm going to memorize my verse for tonight (it is three verses - I have the first part down but not the second).
I have one more project in Creative Writing. It can be anything, and I'm thinking I'll probably write another short story. If you haev any ideas to throw at me, I'd appreciate it. I need to think about these things in the early morning, not late afternoon, when I am beginning to slooooow doooown.
I will totally see you on Friday.

P.S. I learned how to say "You're welcome" in sign language today. Now you know how to survive in the ASL community. You're welcome.
