An Ode to Missouri, the moodiest teenager I know.
(we're doing poems a lot, so why not?)
Missouri, yesterday I could sing,
Today I reflect the gray clouds,
Missouri you need a mood ring,
you could kill a vulture crowd,
this wind is fierce and tornadic,
Yesterday it was sunny and summer,
today its dark and making me sick,
This weather is a real bummer,
Last night I could have used the cool,
I was burning and couldn't sleep,
I could have swum in a pool,
Steady weather you cannot keep,
you trick us into thinking its for real,
then you come back and bite us,
Compassion for you, I do not feel,
You're so annoying I could cuss,
but I'm not going to, it just rhymes,
Listening to Nick Jonas helps a little,
Missouri you're bitter like limes,
no on wants to solve your riddle.
You liiiiike? I'm proud proud prouuuud! I think this one is right up there with the google chrome, the percy jackson, the bsafe and all the other poems/odes I've ever written.
The sun is totally out!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd this from Nick Jonas: "brothers don't let brothers make fools of themselves...Kevin I'm sorry I've failed you for so many years."
