Thoughts on Moving

Click on the picture to see it in all it's goodness.

I thought it would be a breeze living up here, practically like living with my immediate family, but what is really is is lonely. There’s nobody here half the time and I hardly know what to do with myself when I’m not at school besides drink tea and read lots of Chaim Potok. It’s a pretty big adjustment to go from living with five to seven other people to just living with myself, Mor Mor, and Angela.

But hey, I’ll adjust eventually. I’ve got a structured schedule, which is good, and now that my free time is more structured, I have more of a chance to pursue some serious hobbies like writing, sewing, and other such things to my heart’s content. Besides, Mor Mor's got a Steinway. How can I feel morose around a Steinway?

So I feel good about it, in the end. Really.

At least I'm making friends at school. For once.
