poo.

Amy, your news about my surprise birthday party saddens me greatly. If you are too busy right now to do it, we can do it later. and by later I mean in three weeks or so. Whatever part of the planning is hard for you, I can do. Like who to invite and when to do it.

BUT IT WOULD BE REALLY COOL IF YOU WERE STILL INVOLVED IN THE MAJORITY OF THE PLANNING. : D

Amy, if I had a little sister that wanted me to do something great like plan her sixteenth birthday party, I would be honored!

No, but if you really are too busy I guess you don't have to do it....

  1. WHAT!?! I have been holding off from commenting because I have something called discretion but IHVENOWORDSTHATARENOTOBSCENETOEXPRESSMYSELF!

You are not allowed to instigate your own surprise party. You are too young for a surprise party bacause most of your friends aren't independent drivers. You are selfish to ask such a thing. You are selfish to ask such a thing. I won't say it again but I want to.

Also, you are to an age where it's way past time to figure out that things are not all about you, that people are busy, and that it's a birthday, not an international holiday. What one normally does is plan a party for themselves or just go on with their lives, maybe receiving one or two gifts. Do you know what I've done on almost all of my past seven birthdays? I've gone to school. And thats really it, except a few phone calls and dinner out with the family. Obsessing over your birthday is immature and unclassy.

All that to say, I do hope you have a happy birthday and a nice party that you've organized.

Sorry to be such a downer but I'm a middle child, my birthday has never been much of a thing in this family. Thats just how it goes. To have ever made a big deal about it would have been unacceptable.
