Bits and Pieces

I came to the music building to practice some piano and singing and stuff, but I was disrupted by the rehearsal for a fraternity concert that's starting in fifteen minutes. The problem with the proletariat practice rooms is that they aren't soundproof so you can hear everything that's going on in Hart Recital Hall. I have decided that the jazz big band and barbershop quartet sound is to my liking, and I think I will attend this concert, just because it's Saturday afternoon and I can do whatever I darn well want to.

I decided to make a talent thing and upload it to the Touch Korea place just for funsies. The problem is that I don't have very performable talents, so it is going to be pretty boring. But what's a girl to do? I can't just pass up an opportunity like this.

Later - I went to see the concert. It was pretty fun. It was put on by a music fraternity, and they were pretty cool. I got a little video, maybe I'll show you it sometime.

Today is one of those days that's good. I woke up this morning and realized that I didn't have anything pressing to do. That doesn't happen to me very often so it was kind of exciting. I drank all kinds of coffee and drew some things and did some Korean and rocked out to some BAP and planned my trip to the music building. So far I have been here for four hours, all filled with good times. One of my problems is that I used up my camera's battery filming the jazz business, and you know how long it takes to charge that thing even a tiny bit. I have to pass the time somehow.

It is 5:15 now. There is some kind of jazz funk going on now. It's fun to listen to but it is throwing off my groove. Bigtime.

Totes gonna go edit this video. I will leave you with this:

because I heard you like 2PM.
